Rockler Bowl Turner’s Tool Rest, 5/8” Dia. Post

Our Bowl Turner’s Tool Rest features two curves—one gradual, one more angular—to mirror the profile of your bowls and turned vessels. The curves can follow the convex exterior or the concave interior for shaping and hollowing. The more angular end can tuck neatly into the opening of a narrow vessel, and round the corner for hollowing. The tool rest is made of solid stainless steel for heft and resistance to corrosion. It has a silky smooth finish that helps you glide the chisel along the rest, and provides comfort for your fingers. 5/8” diameter post fits most mini and midi lathes.

Note: Post fits a 5/8” inside diameter hole. To adapt this tool rest to fit a 1” diameter hole, see our Adapter Bushing (#56172, sold separately).
